C3I at the sixth 2BS FORUM 2016
During the sixth 2BS FORUM – PLATFORM FOR POLITICAL, EXPERT AND CONSTRUCTIVE DISCUSSION, dedicated to “Global security at stake – challenges and responses” which took place in Budva, Montenegro, (4th to 6th of May, 2016), C3I was represented by its President, Ms. Ljubica Pendaroska.
The event, organized by the Atlantic Council of Montenegro, along with its traditional partners, Government of Montenegro, NATO and the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica, covered several topics related to transatlantic security, SE Europe border challenges, US elections and US external policy, Russia’s geopolitical awakening, sharing responsibility and the future of the Alliance. The Forum was attended by more than 400 high officials, distinguished experts, speakers and young people interested in security matters, among others, H.E. Amb. Alexander Vershbow, Deputy Secretary General of NATO, H.E. Mr. Filip Vujanović, President of Montenegro, H.E. Prof. Dr. Milica Pejanović-Đurišić, Minister of Defence of Montenegro, H.E. Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Croatia.
The Forum was an excellent opportunity to exchange views and to establish a cooperation between Cyber Security, Corporate Security and Crisis Management Initiative (C3I) and the representatives from other initiatives and organizations dealing with different security issues.
